Chapter Membership

Membership in the Delaware Chapter is open to both alumni and friends of West Virginia University!

Our chapter's purpose is to promote the Mountaineer Spirit throughout the First State! We do that by staging Chapter events, such as our Annual Family Picnic, bus trips to Mountaineer games, football and basketball game-watching parties, and other networking opportunities up and downstate.

Our chapter produces a quarterly newsletter, as well as this website and the facebook page Delaware Mountaineer, in order to foster the best possible communications between Delaware Mountaineers.

The very popular WVU License Plate program was initiated by our former President, Dr. Forrest Hawkins, together with the Delaware Department of Transportation. You can learn more about this program and purchase your very own WVU License Plate by clicking on the license plate button on the left. For our Pennsylvania members, PENDOT will issue a license plate also. Contact president David Baum for information.

Chapter dues are very reasonably priced. Life memberships are just $95, five-year memberships are $35 and one-year memberships are $15.
